Úthellingu Kindred
A Heathen Community for Central New York
Next Meeting:
Saturday, July 12, 5 p.m.
First Universalist Society,
Central Square, N.Y.
Greenwood’s current member organization rooted in Germanic Heathenry.
The Kindred is dedicated to the creation and maintenance of inclusive, welcoming spaces where Heathens can find supportive and compassionate kinship, share insights about faith and practice, participate in intelligent and thoughtful dialogues, and seek refuge in a safe and protective circle of frith.
We seek to bring kinship to those who feel they have none; to show we welcome all who welcome all.
2002
Serving CNY Since
For over 20 years, Greenwood has provided an avenue for people of Earth-based spiritualities to worship and recognize rites of passage in their life.
Our efforts to foster understanding and tolerance of our paths within the mainstream community include various Pagan religious and educational activities such as clergy training, workshops, talks, festivals and youth programs.
In 2015, Greenwood was registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit religious, charitable and educational corporation.
