Yuletide blessings to all! Church of the Greenwood invites you to an afternoon of ritual and community as we celebrate Yule. All are welcome to pop in any time, you do not have to be a Pagan or Greenwood member to attend.
Cookie Exchange
Calling all bakers! Bring a tray and off your favorite holiday recipe in our cookie exchange. Make sure to include a list of ingredients so everyone can snack safely.
Yuletide Ritual
The afternoon will also feature a sabbat-themed ritual ritual led by our Heathen group, Úthellingu Kindred. Beginning at 3 p.m., all are welcome to participate in this beginner friendly ritual.
The program will feature a runic chant, a Norse sumbel and offering of wassail. During the sumbel, participants will be asked to share a challenge and accomplishment from this year, as well as a goal for the coming year.
Giving Back
In the nature of giving season, Greenwood encourages all attendees to contribute to Central Square UU’s seasonal collection drive of winter items such as gloves, scarves, hats. Items can be new or slightly used, homemade or bought.
Additionally, Central Square UU will be holding their Sunday program that morning at 10:30 a.m. for those interested in attending a service. All are welcome to join.
