Meet Our Board

  • Rev. Kurt Hohmann

    Mr. Hohmann was ordained by the Church of the Greenwood in 2003 and has served on the church’s board of director’s since 2008. He joined the CNY Pagan Pride Project planning team in 1999 and served as the local facilitator from 2008 - 2022.

    He's an ordained Goði (clergy) and Steward for the Troth, founding member of Úthellingu Kindred, and part-time minister for the First Universalist Society of Central Square, as well as a frequent guest minister for the Auburn Unitarian Universalist Society.

    Past roles include Assistant Pagan Chaplain at Syracuse University and founding member of Mystic Circle, a local group dedicated to the pursuit of spiritual diversity.

  • Rev. Sherene LaMontagne

    Ms. LaMontagne is a Third-Degree High Priestess and Witch, ordained in 2024 in the Willow Hill Tradition. She is a Death Midwife, Tarot reader, offers Birth to Passing Life Ceremonies and Rites. She holds a Masters Degree in science and a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on philosophy. She is active in the Pagan community, raise money for victims of domestic violence, and has the spiritual goal to heal the name of Goddess and the Witch.

  • Cheyenne Rainford

    Ms. Rainford is a practicing Norse Pagan of 7 years and became active in Church of the Greenwood as a member of Uthellingu Kindred. She now serves on the Kindred's Leadership Council and, as of 2022, oversees the CNY Pagan Pride Day Planning Committee. In addition, she is a Volunteer Coordinator and Fundraising Committee Chair for Northeast Thing, a major regional Norse Pagan gathering.

    Her goals are to build Pagan community in the CNY area, provide spiritual resources for Pagans, and foster respectful interfaith dialogue.

  • Emma Martens

    Ms. Martens is a practicing astrologer, tarot reader, commonplace witch and solitary Pagan of more than a decade. In 2023 and 2024 she served on the CNY Pagan Pride Day committee as marketing coordinator, as well as program coordinator in 2024.

    Wielding her powers for the forces of good, Ms. Martens brings her expertise in community building, event planning, brand strategy and marketing to Greenwood. She also serves as webmaster and is the creative force behind both Greenwood and CNY PPD's logos.

    As a lifelong resident of the Finger Lakes and unceded Haudenosaunee land, she strongly believes in the magic of its peoples and places.
